Emily Morris is a writer and trauma therapist based in Nashville, TN. Emily enjoys hiking with her dog, dancing at all hours of the day and night, reading self-help books, and exploring new cities and cultures. Emily quit drinking in 2017 and talks and writes about it frequently.

Emily grew up in a suburb of Detroit, MI. She attended the University of Michigan for undergrad, where she wrote a collection of fiction and poetry for the Creative Writing sub-concentration program. Emily got her Master of Social Work degree at Loyola University Chicago in 2016, and has been working as a psychotherapist since. In 2019, Emily opened her private practice, Composed of Love Mental Health. Emily writes personal essays and poetry in her free time.
